Modes
The search engine has 3 modes:
- Exact article title search
- Article title matches (any word from search is matched)
- Full text search
Case Sensitivity
In the first mode the search engine is case-sensitive:
- suse linux is not the same as SUSE Linux or SuSE linux.
The only exemption is if the first character of a search expression is capital:
- translation is the same as Translation,
- suse linux is the same as Suse linux, but not the SUSE Linux.
This is result of Mediawiki software feature to capitalize first character of article title.
In second and third mode search is not case sensitive.
