How to get wireless back up and running after installing 10.1.

Situation

You've installed 10.1, but all your wireless networking has gone. The main drivers this currently applies to are Atheros based. This article aims to provide information on wirelss driver issues that are specific to 10.1. It is likely not complete yet. Please feel free to add information on other chipsets.

Procedure

For this I find that installing the drivers from madwifi.org work best. Go to the link below and follow it fully through.

For PCMCIA cards just insert them into your laptop and go to YAST. Card should appear there.

This only applies if it is Atheros based.
