SDB:Missing Screen Savers in KDE

Symptom

After performing a standard installation, only two entries for installed screen savers are displayed in KDE Control Center at "Appearance & Themes" -> "Screen Saver". Furthermore, the available entries do not work.

Cause

The package kdeartwork3-xscreensaver is missing.

Solution

Start YaST2 Control Center -> Software -> Install/Remove software

and select the entry "All KDE" from the list on the left.

Then, a list with all KDE packages will be displayed on the right window. Select the package

kdeartwork3-xscreensaver

from the list and confirm with "Accept".

Once the package has been installed with YaST2, you can configure the screen saver in KDE Control Center. <keyword>kde,screensaver,82,31,3.1</keyword>
