SDB:An Empty OpenOffice Document Additionally Opens When Clicking a Document

Symptom

A document opens with OpenOffice when clicking it, for example, in Konqueror. However, a second, empty document is also opened every time this action is performed.

Solution

• Right-click the document to open.
• Click Add in the Edit file type mask then select: Office programs -> Office Suite.
• Click the new entry "Office Suite" in the "Application Preference Order" mask and Move Up this entry.
• Confirm the changes with OK.
• Repeat this procedure with every unassigned file type.
