Installation
- Early mounted swap will make possible to run installation. This is not real solution, merely it is workaround. The result is slow installation, but it is possible. The swap has to be provided, so hard disk has to be partitioned before installation. This is task for moderately experienced Linux users, able to swith to console (Ctrl-Alt-F1), and run fdisk.
- Text mode installation is not very attractive, but it demands lesser resources. In case of small, underpowered or old hardware it is important to use every opportunity to use lesser RAM, CPU cycles or hard disk. It is activated on first screen using function key listed at the bottom of the screen.
