Pkg::SetSelection — Set a new selection

Synopsis

boolean SetSelection ( string selection );

Parameters

string selection

Return

boolean

Returns false if the given string does not match a known selection.

Description

If the selection is a base selection, this effetively resets the current package selection to the packages of the newly selected base selection Usually returns true.

Notes

This has changed the semantics. The code now assumes there is only a single base selection, so this is the same as Pkg::DoProvide ().
