I just created an account because this is my first encounter with SUSE, and I had some trouble getting the Internet - based YaST installation to work. Here's my first and so far only contribution to this wiki: (see my contrib page).

My name is Tim Z Falconer and I'm Sr. Television engineer at UCSF, and President of Falconer Engineering, an Audio-Visual Engineering and Consulting Firm (read: one-man-band) that I run out of my home in Alameda, California. You can read about my experience installing SUSE in order to try to optimize my experience with Intel's i945G / GMA950, on the web page that I'm creating for this installation. No complaints, please, the page is really just a journal for me to keep track of what I've done to get the thing working, and because I find it helps me to write out problems, "thinking out loud" so to speak.
