Hppa Dağıtımı
The SUSE hppa distribution is just work in progress. There is nothing you would like to install except you are a real expert, and used to do everything manually. There is no yast, no hwinfo, installation needs to be done without the help of tools, in other words you don't want to have it.
There are several machines running this distribution:
- two C3600
- two C3000
- two C360
Major work has to be done on several main packages:
- glibc does not build (patches need to be integrated with the current openSUSE glibc).
- kernel does not exist as a package. Last time I tried, the patches were conflicting with ppc patches.
- binutils seems to be close. There are only four open bugs on sources.redhat.com/bugzilla. Unfortunately, the package does not build because of one of them.
- gcc still has several internal compiler errors. The option -fpie does not seem to be supported (needed for glibc).
- yast never could be compiled, because hwinfo does not compile. Last time I did that manually, calling hwinfo crashed the machine...
