Symptom
The driver or the installation script necessary for your WinModem is not included in the SUSE LINUX 9.0 Personal source media.
This problem affects the following packages:
- hsflinmodem
- ltmodem
- smartlink-softmodem

Solution
These packages are available for download from our FTP server at the link below or from one of its mirrors:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/9.0-personal/modem/
The RPM packages (not src.rpm!) are small enough to fit on a floppy disk.
